Candy Basket
Yield: Makes 1 basket
Ingredients:
Cookie Glaze (recipe follows)
2tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2tablespoons powdered sugar
1package (3.5 ounces) 3-1/2-inch brown chocolate sticks
1package (3.5 ounces) 3-1/2-inch white chocolate sticks
Assorted small candies
1round cardboard container (3-inch diameter)
Ribbon
Preparation:
1.Combine Cookie Glaze and cocoa in small bowl; mix until well blended. Stir in 2 tablespoons powdered sugar to thicken to proper spreading consistency.2.Cover outside of cardboard container with foil; frost with thickened glaze. Place chocolate sticks, side by side, in frosting; let stand until hardened. Tie ribbon around "basket." Fill with assorted candies.
Cookie Glaze:
Combine 4 cups powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons milk in a small bowl. Stir; add 1 to 2 tablespoons more milk as needed to make a medium-thick, pourable glaze.
