Cajun spiced steak

Ingredients
4 steaks, (175-225g/6-8oz each)2 tsp dried mixed herbs2 tsp paprika2 tsp garlic granules2 tsp freshly ground black pepper1 tsp dried onions¾-1 tsp cayenne pepper1 tsp salt
Method
1. Grind all of the ingredients in a coffee grinder or pound in a pestle and mortar until you have a fine powder. Rub plenty over the steaks and leave for about 30 minutes for the flavours to develop.2. When you' re ready to eat, place the flavoured steaks on the barbecue over medium-hot coals. Cook for about 4 minutes each side for medium-rare, adding a couple of extra minutes to the cooking for a medium-to-well-done finish. Try not to prod or poke the steaks too much as you want to sear in the flavour, not lose the juices on to the hot coals.
